You may have noticed things are a bit quiet at the mo. We are all taking a bit of a break until xmas as things have got a bit hectic lifewise lately. hopefully we'll be back to see you all in the not too distant future, please feel free to keep on rocking in our absence, love the crushdeluxesters.

12•12•05 the boileroom
the boileroom, the bands recording studio, has been busy lately with sessions recorded for Ipswich art rockers, "the confidentials", - a christmas single for Halesworth based 5 piece, "The Wisdom Of Crowds " and a 3 track EP for "RareBreed", a young halesworth band who have been working with Matt Shepherd.
18•11•05 on the radio
tracks from the new "Kiss of life" EP track will be featured on the Sky Radio station Pulse Rated (channel 905). The A List Sessions with Lynsey Hooper, is broadcast this Sunday 20th November at 16:00 GMT. The show repeats on Tuesdays 12-2pm, Thursdays 12-2pm & Fridays 6-8pm.

23•08•05 kiss of life released at giginthepark05
the first fruits of the new lineup are finally here, a 6 track EP entitled "Kiss of life" was released at this years giginthepark where crushdeluxe, featuring their new 5 piece line-up, put in a storming support set to "The Selecter" held in Halesworth Town park on the weekend 5/6/7th August. The new line-up features Adrian Chapman, who played with Ian, Andy and Sarah in the 90's glam rock outfit, "the Gypzy Tartz". This move signals a new rockier sound for the band which went down well with Andy's brother Ed Graham of The Darkness who was on hand to see the show. Also appearing at giginthepark were, Buzzcocks, The Hamsters, Geno Washington, Michael Chapman Audioporn, and a host of other bands, more info from the giginthepark website.

Crushdeluxe were named winners
in The BBC Look East Be the Band competition. After 2
weeks of furious phone voting the band emerged as winners in a closely
fought contest. The song "are you ready for the weekend"
went forward to the final against 5 other regional winners. On tuesday
2nd Nov the band were filmed by the BBC at Ipswich corn
Exchange performing the winning song which was shown on Look East
on the 9th of November, and again throughout the week. After much deliberation
the panel of celebrity judges chose crushdeluxe as the overall winner.
The band performed live on TV on children
in need night at the Forum in norwich, home of BBC Look East,
in front of a massive live and television audience of around 1 million people on November
19th. They were featured twice, playing Mister Indecision and the winning song "Weekend", pics available here. Since the broadcast the band have had quite a bit of music Industry interest - watch this space
